National Intellectual Property Office in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization will be organizing a National Patent Drafting Course for Hub and Spokes institutions of the Enabling Intellectual Property Environment Project (IP Hub Project). Participants for this course are expected to be selected trainees of hub and spokes institutions under the above given project.

This course will comprise of a hands on patent drafting session from July 24 to 28, 2017 and a follow-up session via e-mail communication will take place thereafter. The speakers for this patent drafting course will be three international experts, one local expert and one WIPO Official.

NIPO has decided to provide four opportunities to registered patent agents also to participate at this training. Opportunities are available on a first-come first-served basis. Applications are called from 01st July 2017- 17th July 2017. Participation Fee per person (for 5 days) is Rs 10,000/=. Payments can be made by cash or cheques drawn in favour of Director General of Intellectual Property.
