A Two - Day Program on Experience of United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Trademark Examination Practices and Preparation for Madrid Protocol Accession will be Organized by NIPO in Collaboration with United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on 2nd - 3rd March 2017, Colombo

National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lanka (NIPO) with the assistance of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will be organizing an awareness raising session on the 'Madrid Protocol and Accession' for NIPO officials, IP agents, Industry and Government institutes from 2nd - 3rd March 2017.
On this occasion, USPTO will be represented by Ms. Nancy Omelko, Attorney- Advisor of Policy and International affairs, Ms. Attiya Malik, Attorney- Advisor of Policy and International affairs, Ms. Shilpi Jha and Ms. Komal Kalha, Senior Legal IP Counsel- South Asia, in the office of Patent and Trademark, US Embassy in New Delhi, India.

Those who wish to participate above program which will be held on 3rd March 2017 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Miloda Conference Hall, Colombo 01; Please contact NIPO officials via 0112669779 / 0112999179 on or before 12.00 noon of 27th February 2017 to confirm your participation. Allocation of seats will be determined on a first-come first-served basis.
