Dear IP agents and the general public,

We thank the IP agents and the general public for the cooperation extended by making online payments and filing documents via email which was an alternative facilitation introduced by NIPO due to the COVID 19 Health safety protocol during the past 11 months.

We are pleased to announce that the Reception and the Shroff counters of NIPO will now be opened from 4th April 2022 for daily transactions. Please be informed that online payment/ bank transfer facilitation will cease with effect from 31st March 2022 3.00 pm. You are kindly requested to refrain from making any online payments during the period between 1st April to 3rd April as a time gap is required to reorganize and update the internal system of NIPO prior to accepting physical payment of fees. Those who need to meetup with deadlines to make payments within this period of 3 days (1st – 3rd April), are kindly advised to make their due payments and file documents/ submissions before 31st March 2022.

Please cooperate with us by visiting NIPO before mid-day enabling us to attend to your IP matters without causing any inconvenience to you, whilst maintaining all safety guidelines.

When you are visiting NIPO, please note to follow all precautionary measures specified by the Ministry of Health to prevent spread of Covid-19 virus. (Wearing a face mask is essential. Maintain at least 1-meter physical distance with persons at all time i.e. when you are waiting in the reception to visit the information desk, shroff counter, or the IT reception desk, or any officer.)
