World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea, and with the assistance of the Korea Copyright Commission (KCC) will organize, a Practical Training Workshop for Managers of Creative Start-Up Companies in the Music Industry on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 08:30 to 11:30 a.m [Geneva time]. This Workshop will provide participants with useful information and knowledge on how the Republic of Korea has been providing policy interventions in support of creative start-up companies in the music industry. The practice and experience of other countries will also be shared. The Workshop will also focus on:
(i) How to use copyright as a tool for business development and growth and
(ii) To improve production and marketing both locally and internationally.

Considering the objectives of the workshop we hereby invite two managers or representatives from creative start-up companies and/or associations in the field of the music industry.
