The Notice regarding extension of time granted to file notices of opposition with respect to marks published in the Government Gazette on 20th and 27th March 2020.

Please be informed, that due to the Covid 19 pandemic situation in the country the aforementioned
Government Gazettes which were scheduled to be published on 20th and 27th March Gazettes have now been published in the month of May.
Accordingly, 3-month period to file notice of opposition as per the Intellectual Property Act 36 of 2003 against the mark published in May will end on 20th August and 27th August 2020, respectively.
